Shipping Methods & Delivery Timelines

We offer two primary shipping options to cater to your needs:

  • Standard Shipping (Paid): Shipped via DHL or FedEx.
    • Cost: $12.95.
    • Estimated Delivery: 10-15 business days after dispatch.
  • Free Shipping: Available on orders over $50, shipped via EMS.
    • Cost: Free.
    • Estimated Delivery: 15-25 business days after dispatch.

Please note: These are estimated timelines. Delivery to remote or certain Asian regions may be excluded or subject to longer transit times. You will receive a tracking notification once your order is dispatched.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

We trust in the exceptional craftsmanship of every Gyuto, Santoku, and Nakiri that leaves our care. However, we understand that precision is personal. Our policy is designed to be as seamless and precise as the edge on our blades.

1. Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Timeframe: You must initiate your request within 15 days of receiving the item.
  • Condition: The item must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation (knife box, care instructions, certificates).
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid order number is required.

2. Non-Returnable Items

To uphold our uncompromising standards of quality, safety, and hygiene, the following are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Sharpened or Used Knives: Any knife that has been sharpened, used for cutting, or shows any signs of wear.
  • Personal Care & Sharpening Items: This includes Sharpening Stones and Sharpening Accessories that have been unpackaged or used.
  • Custom or Personalized Items.
  • Gift Cards.

3. Step-by-Step Return/Exchange Process

  1. Contact Us: Email [email protected] within 15 days of receipt. Use the subject line: “Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order Number]”.
  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, item(s), and a brief reason for the request.
  3. Receive Authorization: If eligible, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions. Returns without an RMA cannot be processed.
  4. Secure Packaging: Repack the item securely in its original packaging with all included elements.
  5. Ship the Package: Send the package to our Los Angeles address (provided with your RMA) using a trackable and insured service. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
  6. Inspection & Resolution: We will inspect the returned item within 3-5 business days and notify you via email of the status of your refund or exchange shipment.

4. Refund Timeline & Method

  • Timing: Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
  • Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
  • Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges, we cover standard shipping for the replacement item.

Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to post to your account.

5. Exchanges

To exchange for a different model (e.g., a Gyuto for a Santoku), please indicate this in your initial email. Exchanges are subject to availability. The replacement will be shipped after the original item is received and inspected, following our standard delivery timelines.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us immediately at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a prepaid return label and expedite a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Please include photographs of the packaging and the item.
